【创1:1】[和合本]起初　神创造天地。
[WEB]In the beginning, GodThe Hebrew word rendered “God” is “אֱלֹהִ֑ים” (Elohim). created the heavens and the earth.
【创1:2】[和合本]地是空虚混沌，渊面黑暗；　神的灵运行在水面上。
[WEB]The earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters. 
【创1:3】[和合本]　神说：“要有光”，就有了光。
[WEB]God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
【创1:4】[和合本]　神看光是好的，就把光暗分开了。
[WEB]God saw the light, and saw that it was good. God divided the light from the darkness.
【创1:5】[和合本]　神称光为昼，称暗为夜。有晚上，有早晨，这是头一日。
[WEB]God called the light “day”, and the darkness he called “night”. There was evening and there was morning, the first day.
【创1:6】[和合本]　神说：“诸水之间要有空气，将水分为上下。”
[WEB]God said, “Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
【创1:7】[和合本]　神就造出空气，将空气以下的水、空气以上的水分开了。事就这样成了。
[WEB]God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.
【创1:8】[和合本]　神称空气为天。有晚上，有早晨，是第二日。
[WEB]God called the expanse “sky”. There was evening and there was morning, a second day.
【创1:9】[和合本]　神说：“天下的水要聚在一处，使旱地露出来。”事就这样成了。
[WEB]God said, “Let the waters under the sky be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.
【创1:10】[和合本]　神称旱地为地，称水的聚处为海。　神看着是好的。
[WEB]God called the dry land “earth”, and the gathering together of the waters he called “seas”. God saw that it was good.
【创1:11】[和合本]　神说：“地要发生青草和结种子的菜蔬，并结果子的树木，各从其类，果子都包着核。”事就这样成了。
[WEB]God said, “Let the earth yield grass, herbs yielding seeds, and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, with their seeds in it, on the earth”; and it was so.
【创1:12】[和合本]于是地发生了青草和结种子的菜蔬，各从其类；并结果子的树木，各从其类，果子都包着核。　神看着是好的。
[WEB]The earth yielded grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, with their seeds in it, after their kind; and God saw that it was good.
【创1:13】[和合本]有晚上，有早晨，是第三日。
[WEB]There was evening and there was morning, a third day. 
【创1:14】[和合本]　神说：“天上要有光体，可以分昼夜，作记号，定节令、日子、年岁，
[WEB]God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs to mark seasons, days, and years;
【创1:15】[和合本]并要发光在天空，普照在地上。”事就这样成了。
[WEB]and let them be for lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth”; and it was so.
【创1:16】[和合本]于是　神造了两个大光，大的管昼，小的管夜，又造众星，
[WEB]God made the two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He also made the stars.
【创1:17】[和合本]就把这些光摆列在天空，普照在地上，
[WEB]God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light to the earth,
【创1:18】[和合本]管理昼夜，分别明暗。　神看着是好的。
[WEB]and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. God saw that it was good.
【创1:19】[和合本]有晚上，有早晨，是第四日。
[WEB]There was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.
